We had four wonderful days during the bishop’s visitation. Many thanks to everyone who helped, with both small and large contributions, and who made sure the bishop was warmly welcomed and the days were so special.

The Catholic Diocese of Oslo invites you to a seminar on Sigrid Undset as a Catholic believer, with talks on canonisation, the Dominican Third Order and Catholic faith in an anti-Catholic age, and a panel discussion.

On All Souls’ Day we remember all the faithful departed at Holy Mass. After Mass, Fr. Trym will bless the graves at Kongsberg gravlund.
The campaign «Et hus bygget på fjell» (A House Built on Rock) is now under way. Videos about the campaign are available on katolsk.no, where you can also read the pastoral letter that was read at Sunday Mass. Feel free to take a brochure home. Many thanks to everyone who helps us build our Church together.

Information about a diocesan fundraising campaign will be released soon. Parishes will identify their own projects to receive a share of the funds. St. Barbara plans to improve the outdoor area to create more space and make it more attractive, and to provide more parking spaces. The site inspection report and preliminary site plan are available to read in the parish hall.
Please contact Fr. Trym if you are interested in joining a group for the over-60s with regular gatherings.

The parish needs volunteers to support children and young people in catechesis. Help is needed in Kongsberg, Notodden and Mo.
