Anniversary of the consecration of the church
The parish marks the third anniversary of the consecration of St. Barbara Church with Mass, cakes and food. Please also bring extra food the following Sunday.

Wednesday 23 September marks three years since St. Barbara Church was consecrated. The celebration begins with Mass at 18:00, followed by cakes and food in the parish hall.
The celebration continues on Sunday 27 September. Please bring some extra food that Sunday too.

Building project at St. Barbara
Information about a diocesan fundraising campaign will be released soon. Parishes will identify their own projects to receive a share of the funds.
St. Barbara plans to improve the outdoor area to create more space and make it more attractive, and to provide more parking spaces.
The site inspection report and preliminary site plan are available to read in the parish hall.
Interested in a group for the over-60s?
Please contact Fr. Trym if you are interested in joining a group for the over-60s with regular gatherings.
Leaders needed for the Confirmation retreat
A joint Confirmation retreat with Hønefoss and Lillehammer takes place at Skogstad on 16–18 October. With many participants expected, the leadership team needs around 20 volunteers over the age of 18 from the three parishes. St. Barbara should also contribute some volunteers.
