Confirmation retreat at Skogstad

There are no Masses at St. Barbara on 28 and 29 August because Fr. Trym is attending the Norwegian Catholic Youth national meeting at Mariaholm.

Information about a diocesan fundraising campaign will be released soon. Parishes will identify their own projects to receive a share of the funds.

St. Barbara plans to improve the outdoor area to create more space and make it more attractive, and to provide more parking spaces.

The site inspection report and preliminary site plan are available to read in the parish hall.

Please contact Fr. Trym if you are interested in joining a group for the over-60s with regular gatherings.

To enquire about late registration, contact the person responsible for your child's age group. Updated times, session dates and contact details are on the catechesis page.

The priest is usually available for confessions from 17:00 on Fridays. Confession can also be arranged on other days, before or after Mass.

The Confirmation retreat takes place at Skogstad from 16 to 18 October, together with Hønefoss and Lillehammer. With many participants expected, the leadership team needs around 20 adults over the age of 18 from the three parishes. St. Barbara should also contribute some volunteers.

Contact Fr. Trym if you are interested or have questions.
