Parish pilgrimage to St. Frans in Larvik

There are no Masses at St. Barbara on 28 and 29 August because Fr. Trym is at Mariaholm for the national assembly of Norges Unge Katolikker.

The priest is usually available for confessions from 17:00 on Fridays. Confession can also be arranged on other days, before or after Mass.

Thank you to everyone who took part and helped at St. Barbara and Vatnås. The parish also encouraged everyone to save the date for the feast of Saint Olav in 2027.

Registration was via the QR code on the posters. With limited parking available, participants were encouraged to share transport.

Confirmation preparation starts on 4 September, the ages 3–7 group on 5 September, and Good Shepherd catechesis on 13 September. Registration links are on the parish catechesis page.

Fr. Johan was unavailable, and the English Mass at 16:00 was cancelled.

The parish is travelling by car from St. Barbara to Larvik. Lunch follows Mass at St. Frans.

Fr. Trym was on retreat and holiday. From 28 June through 26 July, there was only Norwegian Sunday Mass at 11:00 and no regular weekday Masses at St. Barbara.

The parish needs volunteers to support children and young people in catechesis. Help is needed in Kongsberg, Notodden and Mo.
