Mass at Heddal Stave Church

The parish needs volunteers to support children and young people in catechesis. Help is needed in Kongsberg, Notodden and Mo.

From August, Holy Communion at Sunday Mass is normally distributed under one kind, the Body of Christ. At weekday Masses, the priest continues to distribute Communion by intinction.

The whole sacrament is received even when Communion is received under one kind. The change has been made for practical reasons and to establish a more sustainable and consistent practice.
